Being new to a church can be difficult, maybe even a bit overwhelming. So, we’ll do our best to help you feel welcomed.
WHAT time is church?
ACC’s Sunday Worship Celebration begins at 10:00 AM and is approximately 70 minutes in length. Please feel free to arrive a little early to look around, meet a few kind folks, and to take advantage of ACC’s coffee, tea, and hot chocolate station.
How should I dress?
People at ACC wear whatever fits their style, custom, culture and/or desire. Sunday mornings are worshipful yet casual, so feel free to dress comfortably.
what are the people like?
The people at ACC are very friendly. You will feel welcomed without the overwhelming “I’m new here” feeling. You will also find that the people at ACC make up a blend of ages, nationalities, cultures, and church backgrounds. All are welcomed at ACC.
WHERE DO KIDS & TEENS GO?
Children of all ages are always welcome to stay with their parent(s) throughout the Worship Celebration. We love it that way! Yet, we also realize and appreciate that the “little” (ages 0 to 6ish) may prefer a more open and active setting. If so, our Community Kids team is joyfully ready and waiting. Here, children will be well cared for as they learn about the incredible story of the Bible and the unending love of Jesus.
Middle School and High School students also remain with the adults in the Worship Celebration on Sundays. CLICK HERE to learn about other youth group opportunities.
WHAT’S THE WORSHIP LIKE?
Worship Celebrations at ACC are focused on Jesus.
MUSIC is typically led in an acoustic contemporary style, with various Scripture readings and times of prayer included. The congregation is encouraged to participate rather than observing a performance.
COMMUNION is served on the first Sunday of each month. The elements (a small cracker and grape juice) are available for all who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, regardless of denomination.
TITHES/OFFERING can be given online, through the Church Center app, or on Sunday mornings via donation boxes located at the back of the Worship Center. All who consider ACC to be “their church” are encouraged to give as the Lord leads.
