ARLINGTON COMMUNITY CHURCH
a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8, Christian Family
Located on the west side of Arlington, VA., less than 1 mile from Falls Church, ACC provides a great place for all people in this diverse community (locals, internationals, military personnel, etc.) to come together in Christian faith, worship and service.
God is calling ACC to love Him and all people, grow in faith, reach the community, and launch Christians with a global mission.
We seek to LOVE
The Bible is our benchmark. It is the authority from which we teach and live. In a word, the message of the Bible is LOVE.
Jesus said, "The greatest command is to love the Lord your God ... and to love others as you love yourself" (Mt. 22:37-39).
This truth of God's Word informs all that ACC believes.
GROW in Faith
Faith is an interesting thing. Like driving on a bridge, it is the idea of putting your entire trust in something greater than yourself. For Christians, that something (or more accurately, someone) is Jesus Christ. Without this faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrew 11:6). Therefore, all ministries at ACC seek to help all peoples of all ages to continue growing in this life-changing faith.
REACH the Community
Faith without doing good to others is really no faith at all (James 2:20). In fact, that which is pure before God is (1) a pure heart, and (2) a religion that compassionately cares for the practical needs of the hurting, needy, and marginalized in the community (James 1:27). ACC reaches into its community through service, partnering with local organizations to encourage all people to find a way to serve others in Arlington and/or Falls Church.
LAUNCH into a Global Mission
The mission for Jesus's Church is clear. As we live our everyday lives, on the go, we are to be intentional about making disciples (students) of all nations. We are to lead people of all ethnicities to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, helping them grow in their faith and obedience to His Word (Matthew 28:18-20). Through global partnerships with mission organizations, the ACC impact reaches well beyond Arlington and Falls Church.
