Join ACC as we set up a tent and give away backpacks that will be provided by Arlington Bridge Builders, to help care for the practical school needs of families and children in Arlington. We will also be offering activities for the kids as well as a fun way to interact with our community. A BBQ lunch will be provided. At ACC we reserve the last Sunday of every month to come together and pray. Community Kids ministry will be provided for this event.
**Please note that directly following this event from 7:00-8:00pm we will have a reception in honor of Wally and Marilyn Birdseye's 50th Anniversary. Cake and punch will be provided**
Fun, food, fellowship.. and BINGO! Your ticket for admission buys 10 games as well as dinner. Pizza for the adults, and Chick-Fil-A nuggets for the kids! Popcorn and desserts will be available for purchase.
Prizes include a professional family photography session, Mary Kay gift basket, a collection of books donated by the Library of Congress, gift certificates for Chick-Fil-A as well as handmade items including a quilted table runner and a custom diaper tote.
A raffle the evening of the event will include a handmade full sized quilt as well as a gift certificate for a kids bike!

Our district family is joining together once again to pray. ACC will be a satellite site for the live gathering which will be taking place at Emmanuel Alliance Church in Frederick, Maryland. Community Kids ministry will be provided for this event.
While all are welcome to join for fellowship, the purpose of this meeting is for ACC members and for the presentation of our annual ministry report and budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Please bring a dish to share. ACC will provide dessert and drinks.
New congregants are invited to join Pastor John and his wife, Amy, at their house for a dinner and discussion about God’s vision and mission for this church. If you have recently started attending, or have never gone to this class, this is for you! This is not a membership class, but it is required for those wanting to become members.
Financial Peace University is coming to ACC!
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 9 lesson, money-management course taught by renowned financial advisor Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future and much more. Classes begin Tuesday April 18 at 6:00pm in the ACC Fellowship Hall and will run weekly for nine weeks. Cost is $93 per family and will cover the cost of materials needed for the class. Save your used and/or unwanted clothes, gadgets, etc. and bring them to ACC during this week as we collect items for Savers (see video)! These items that you no longer want will be used to bless others in surrounding communities... and even the world! At the same time, ACC will receive $ based on the amount (lbs) we collect. Monies received will go to support the Thailand mission trip this summer.
We have obtained a group block of tickets to see Facing Darkness which is the incredible true story of Dr. Kent Brantley who traveled to West Africa in the Spring of 2014 as the Ebola epidemic was sweeping the continent. On Valentines Day, you can drop your pre-school through 5th grade children off at Arlington Community Church where they will enjoy snacks and making crafts while you are out. This service is available for free—just register to save your spot. There will be a cap on the number of kids we can host, so please register early!
The Mid-Atlantic District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance will be hosting a prayer gathering that we will join as a congregation via live video feed. Come join us for a VERY informal gathering at Bluemont Park on Thanksgiving morning for a family friendly game of touch football. Kids, pets, and out of town guests are more than welcome! It will be a great opportunity to fellowship and burn a few calories before partaking in the Thanksgiving feast.
Give your marriage a kiss. This 2-session marriage seminar will be refreshing for any married couple. Each session will be in a date-night environment, including a nice dinner and childcare (meals also provided for the kids). Discussions will only take place between you and your spouse, not the whole group.
